QSE Index Closes Higher

Doha, August 16 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Sunday's trading session higher by 24.34 points, or 0.24 percent, reaching 10,045.18 points.

A total of 119,902,650 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 299,183,768.362 through 20,108 transactions across all sectors.

The shares of 22 companies advanced, whereas those of 29 others declined, while the shares of two companies remained unchanged.

At the close of trading, market capitalization stood at QAR 603,500,061,773.024 compared to QAR 601,340,435,012.114 in the previous session. (QNA)
