QSE Index Closes Higher

Doha, August 27 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Thursday, gaining 22.19 points, or 0.23 percent, to 9,876.29 points.
A total of 203,735,796 shares were traded during the session, with a turnover of QAR 696,659,423.256 across 22,204 transactions in all sectors.
The shares of 35 companies advanced, whereas those of 12 others declined, while the shares of 5 companies remained unchanged.
Market capitalization rose to QAR 592,241,234,673.726, compared with QAR 592,195,036,280.086 in the previous session. (QNA)
