QSE Index Closes Higher

Doha, October 21 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Wednesday, rising 45.05 points, or 0.52 percent, to end at 8,643.47.

Trading volume reached 146,209,979 shares, with turnover totaling QAR 337,719,059.853 through 26,104 transactions across all sectors.

The shares of 33 companies advanced during the session, and those of 15 others declined, while five companies kept their previous closing prices unchanged.

Market capitalization stood at QAR 528,692,259,543.024 at the close of trading, up from QAR 525,344,734,244.796 in the previous session. (QNA)
