QSE Index Closes Higher

Doha, October 28 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed on Wednesday higher by 63.52 points, or 0.69 percent, to end at 9,214.35.

Trading volume reached 221,108,654 shares, with turnover totaling QAR 506,066,420.512 through 37,654 transactions across all sectors.

The shares of 21 companies advanced during the session, and those of 28 others declined, while three companies kept their previous closing prices unchanged.

Market capitalization stood at QAR 559,849,145,961.330 at the close of trading, up from QAR 557,281,379,597.364 in the previous session. (QNA)
