QSE Index Closes Lower

Doha, August 19 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading session lower by 75.25 points, or 0.76 percent, reaching 9,772.85 points.
A total of 109,968,897 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 347,218,014.778 through 22,239 transactions across all sectors.
The shares of 9 companies advanced, whereas those of 39 others declined, while the shares of six companies remained unchanged.
At the close of trading, market capitalization stood at QAR 585,998,620,548.106 compared to QAR 592,502,812,267.322 in the previous session. (QNA)
