QSE Index Closes Lower

Doha, September 24 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index closed Thursday's trading session down 67.86 points, or 0.71 percent, at 9,477.68 points.

Trading volume reached 153,210,433 shares, with turnover totaling QAR 316,162,963.044 through 20,635 transactions across all sectors.

The shares of 12 companies advanced during the session, and those of 39 others declined, while two companies kept their previous closing prices unchanged.

Market capitalization stood at QAR 572,630,873,608.228 at the close of trading, down from QAR 576,634,323,328.314 in the previous session. (QNA)
