QSE Index Closes Lower

Doha, October 22 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed on Thursday lower by 32.37 points, or 0.37 percent, to end at 8,611.10.

Trading volume reached 167,927,353 shares, with turnover totaling QAR 409,682,383.848 through 39,409 transactions across all sectors.

The shares of 18 companies advanced during the session, and those of 31 others declined, while four companies kept their previous closing prices unchanged.

Market capitalization stood at QAR 526,388,949,013.548 at the close of trading, up from QAR 528,692,259,543.024 in the previous session. (QNA)
