QSE Index Falls 0.66% in Early Thursday Trading

Doha, October 22 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index fell by 0.66% at the start of Thursday's trading, losing 56.69 points compared with the previous session’s close to reach 8,586 points, weighed down by six sectors.

QSE data showed a positive performance in Telecoms (+0.18%) and negative performances in Real Estate (-0.21%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.22%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.82%), Industrials (-0.91%), Transportation (-0.92%), and Insurance (-1.36%).

At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 4,868 transactions worth QR 60.183 million, distributed across 34.269 million shares. (QNA)
