QSE Index Gains 63.95 Points in Early Trading

Doha, August 23 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 0.66 % at the start of trading Sunday, adding 63.95 points to its balance compared to the close of the last session, rising to a level of 9746 points, supported by all sectors.
QSE figures showed positive performance for the telecommunications sector at 1.45 %, the banking and financial services sector at 0.94 %, the transportation sector at 0.78 %, the insurance sector at 0.62 %, the industrial sector at 0.24 %, the real estate sector at 0.20 % and the consumer goods and services sector at 0.03 %.
At 10:00 AM, QSE recorded 3444 transactions worth QR 46.157 million, distributed across 23.700 million shares. (QNA)
