QSE Index Opens 0.18% Lower

Doha, October 04 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index opened Sunday's trading session down 16.43 points, or 0.18%, to reach 9175 points, weighed by losses across four sectors.

QSE data showed a positive performance for Industrials (+0.47%), Insurance (+0.29%), and Consumer Goods and Services (+0.12%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Banks and Financial Services (-0.30%), Transport (-0.75%), Telecoms (-0.86%), and Real Estate (-0.98%).

By 10:00 am, trading on QSE totaled QR 44.180 million, with 25,353 million shares changing hands through 2829 transactions. (QNA)
