QSE Index Opens Higher

Doha, September 03 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose 0.40% at the opening of Thursday's trading session, gaining 38.64 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,789 points, supported by gains across all sectors.
QSE data showed positive performances in the sectors of Consumer Goods and Services (+1.00%), Telecoms (+0.88%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.47%), Industrials (+0.25%), Transportation (+0.15%), Real Estate (+0.15%), and Insurance (+0.07%).
By 10:01 am, turnover stood at QR 55.040 million, with 29.832 million shares traded in 3,086 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
