QSE Index Opens Higher

Doha, September 08 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose 0.21% at the opening of Tuesday's trading session, gaining 20.42 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,806 points, supported by gains across five sectors.
QSE data showed positive performances in the sectors of Insurance (+1.10%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.72%), Industrials (+0.48%), Real Estate (+0.32%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.17%).
On the other hand, performance was negative for Telecoms (-0.07%) and Transportation (-0.31%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 205.622 million, with 152.643 million shares traded in 3,149 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
