QSE Index Opens Higher

The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index rose 0.11% at the start of trading on Monday, gaining 11.55 points to reach 10,848, compared to the previous session's close.

Market data showed gains in Consumer Goods and Services (+0.49%), Transportation (+0.17%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.13%), while declines were recorded in Insurance (-0.34%), Real Estate (-0.26%), Telecoms (-0.06%), and Industrials (-0.05%).

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 34.360 million from 14.811 million shares traded across 2,659 transactions.
