QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha, August 11 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 55.82 points, or 0.55%, at the start of Tuesday's trading, down to 10,041 points, under pressure from most sectors.
The market data showed an increase in Insurance (+0.07%), and declines in the sectors of Consumer Goods and Services (-0.21%), Transportation (-0.28%), Industrials (-0.35%), Real Estate (-0.38%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.65%), and Telecoms (-0.89%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 53.954 million, with 33.007 million shares traded in 3,102 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
