QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha, August 12 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 4.55 points, or 0.05%, at the start of Wednesday's trading, down to 10,022 points, under pressure from four sectors.

The market data showed declines in Insurance (-0.66%), Telecoms (-0.30%), Transportation (-0.18%), and Real Estate (-0.12%). Meanwhile, performance was positive for Consumer Goods and Services (+0.36%), Industrials (+0.31%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.09%). 

By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 54.381 million, with 33.969 million shares traded in 3,175 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
