QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha, August 13 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 45.74 points, or 0.45%, at the start of Thursday's trading, down to 10009آ points, under pressure from most sectors.
The market data showed an increase in Real Estate (+0.26%), and declines in the sectors of Banks and Financial Services (-0.03%), Transportation (-0.06%), Insurance (-0.25%), Telecoms (-0.25%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.52%), and Industrials (-1.77%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 393.423 million, with 104,531 million shares traded in 3497 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
