
Doha, August 19 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 20.94 points, or 0.21%, at the start of Wednesday's trading, reaching 9,827 points, under pressure from most sectors.
The market data showed declines in Insurance (-0.64%), Telecoms (-0.39%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.35%), Transportation (-0.32%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.25%), and Real Estate (-0.14%). Meanwhile, performance was positive for Industrials (+0.14%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 39.643 million, with 15.797 million shares traded in 2,847 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
