QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, August 31 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 38.53 points, or 0.39%, at the start of Monday's trading, reaching 9824 points, under pressure from six sectors.
The market data showed declines in Consumer Goods and Services (-1.21%), Telecoms (-1.21%), Real Estate (-1.15%), Industrials (-0.83%), Transportation (-0.66%), and Insurance (-0.18%). Meanwhile, performance was positive for Banks and Financial Services (+0.20%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 63.251 million, with 23.329 million shares traded in 4345 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
