QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha, September 24 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index opened Thursday's trading session down 23.24 points, or 0.24%, to reach 9,522 points, weighed by losses across six sectors.
QSE data showed a positive performance for Real Estate (+0.28%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Transport (-0.04%), Telecoms (-0.12%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.32%), Industrials (-0.33%), Insurance (-0.49%), and Consumer Goods and Services (-0.66%).
By 10:00 am, trading on QSE totaled QR 68.745 million, with 37.638 million shares changing hands through 3,209 transactions. (QNA)
