QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha, October 06 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index opened Tuesday's trading session down 1.70 points, or 0.02%, to 9,283 points, weighed by losses across two sectors.

QSE data showed a positive performance for Real Estate (+0.69%), Transport (+0.26%), Insurance (+0.20%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.13%), and Telecoms +0.09%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Banks and Financial Services (-0.16%) and Industrials (-0.07%).

By 10:00 am, trading on QSE totaled QR 54.310 million, with 25,168 million shares changing hands through 2,792 transactions. (QNA)
