QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha, July 08 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 0.42% at the start of Wednesday's trading, losing 42.61 points to reach 10,211 points, under pressure by all sectors.
The market data showed declines in the sectors of Insurance (-0.25%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.27%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.28%), Telecoms (-0.43%), Real Estate (-0.45%), Industrials (-0.47%), and Transportation (-1.04%).
At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 2,868 transactions worth QR 41.033 million, distributed across 21.036 million shares. (QNA)
