Sheikh Khalifa, Egyptian Envoy Discuss Enhancing Cooperation in Trade, Investment

Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani held a meeting with Walid el-Faki, Egypt’s ambassador to Qatar, at the chamber’s headquarters in Lusail today.

The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and explored ways to strengthen ties in trade and investment fields, as well as the role of the Qatari private sector in stimulating trade exchange.

Sheikh Khalifa praised the strong fraternal relations between Qatar and Egypt, highlighting the close ties between Qatar Chamber and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC).

He also emphasised the strong interest of the private sectors in both countries to expand trade and investment cooperation, encourage mutual and joint investments, and increase the volume of trade between the two nations.
