Southern Province Cement Co. Announces An Update On Latest Developments In Establishing A New Production Line At Jazan Cement Plant To Replace The Current Production Lines
Introduction: Further to the announcement by Southern Province Cement Company regarding the latest developments in the construction of a new production line at the Jazan Cement Plant—intended to replace the existing production lines—which was published on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) website on December 30, 2025, and in which the Company announced the completion of most construction phases and the commencement of trial operations for certain production stages, the Company wishes to inform its valued shareholders of the partial acceptance and handowver of the new production line on September 21, 2026.
This partial acceptance and handowver comes as part of the project completion phases, in accordance with the approved implementation plan. The handover of the remaining project components and the commercial operation of the entire project will be completed according to the project timetable, which is expected to be completed before the end of 2026.
