Announcement Detail: "With reference to the announcement by Saudi Electricity Company regarding the adjustment of electricity service tariffs, and the announcement by National Water Company regarding the adjustment of water and sewage service tariffs—in accordance with the governance procedures for adjusting energy and water products prices—Southern Province Cement Company (SPCC) announces that these adjustments will have no material direct financial impact on its production costs or financial results. This is because none of the company’s plants are connected to the electricity transmission or distribution grid; instead, they rely on electricity generated by the company’s own power plants, which utilize heavy fuel oil. Furthermore,the company does not source the water required for its production processes from the National Water Company.

The company will, in the future, disclose any material financial impact to its valued shareholders should any of its plants be connected to the electricity transmission or distribution grid."
