S&P 500, Nasdaq post best quarter since 2020

NEW YORK: Major US stock indexes closed higher on Tuesday; the S&P 500 rose 0.75%, the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.45%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.22%.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq finished out the quarter with their biggest quarterly gains since 2020 as investors remained upbeat about economic and earnings growth.
