Top 5 International Contributors to Qatar's Projects in 2024

In 2024, five countries emerged as the top international contributors to projects in Qatar, according to data from Invest Qatar. 

Out of the country’s total 241 projects, the United Arab Emirates led with 58 projects (24.1% share), followed by the United States with 30 projects (12.4%). India contributed 17 projects (7.0%), the United Kingdom 16 projects (6.6%), and China 12 projects (5.0%).

This snapshot from Invest Qatar illustrates the breadth of international engagement driving Qatar’s development agenda. 

Each country brings unique expertise and resources — from regional synergies with the UAE, to American technical and financial involvement, and diversified sectoral contributions from India, the UK, and China.

For investors, these figures are more than just rankings. They provide a window into where global partnerships are most active, highlighting potential markets and collaboration opportunities. 

The strong UAE presence, for example, suggests fertile ground for regional alliances, while the significant shares from the US, India, UK, and China indicate diverse and competitive participation in Qatar’s growth.
