UAE Eid Al-Fitr 2023 to Start on April 21, Astronomy Group Says

The first day of Eid Al-Fitr is likely to be on Friday, April 21, 2023. 

“Most likely, Ramadan this year will be for 29 days. Eid Al-Fitr and the first of Shawwal will be on Friday April 21,” said Ibrahim Al Jarwan, chairman of the Emirates Astronomical Society, The National reported. 

The actual dates are to be announced closer to the day, confirmed by the sighting of the moon.
