UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Thani Al Zeyoudi Joins the Briefing With Arabian Business

H.E. Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at The Briefing with Arabian Business, taking place on November 25 at Rosewood Abu Dhabi.

Dr Thani will join the flagship business conference, bringing unique insight into senior government perspective to the Gulf’s investment priorities.

His leadership, particularly his pivotal role in shaping UAE trade strategy and guiding international commercial resilience, notably during the early days of the Iran conflict, makes him the ideal voice for the room.

With over a decade’s experience as a senior government minister, Dr Thani adds to an increasingly impressive line-up of public and private sector leaders.

The announcement comes after H.E. Abdulla Ahmed Balalaa, the UAE’s Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability, was also confirmed to take part in an exclusive fireside chat.

The latest additions also follow the recent announcement of several senior business leaders.

Mark Chahwan, co-founder and Group CEO of Sarwa, will join the line-up, bringing experience from one of the UAE’s fastest-growing digital investment platforms.

Bassel Al Nahlaoui, Chief Business Officer at Careem, has also been confirmed.

Mazin Khan, Chief Financial Officer of Masdar, will join the conference, bringing experience from one of the UAE’s largest renewable energy companies and a major investor in international clean energy projects.

Haisam Odeimeh, Group CEO of Al Ramz, has also been confirmed. He leads the UAE-listed financial services group, which operates across investment management, brokerage and capital markets.

Joining them is Jasem Abdulla Al Nowais, Managing Director of Al Nowais Group, the Abu Dhabi-based family business with interests spanning energy, infrastructure, healthcare and other sectors.

Previously announced speakers include Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du; Frederico Justus, CEO of Egis for the Middle East and South Asia; and Dr Hamdullah Mohib, CEO of Marlan Space and Orbitworks.

Together, the speakers represent industries central to the UAE’s economic diversification, including finance, telecommunications, renewable energy, infrastructure, technology and space.

The Briefing comes to Abu Dhabi on November 25

Held under the theme Momentum and Growth, The Briefing with Arabian Business will examine the decisions, investments and economic shifts shaping companies across the UAE and wider Gulf.

The conference will explore regional business confidence, investment opportunities, infrastructure development, the competition for global talent, tourism, technology and the economic outlook.

The Abu Dhabi edition follows the inaugural event held in Dubai in June, which attracted more than 500 attendees and over 30 speakers from government and the private sector.

Previous speakers included H.E. Badr Jafar, the UAE’s Special Envoy for Business and Philanthropy, and Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports.

The November conference will bring together senior executives, business owners, investors and policymakers for a morning of discussions and networking.

Further speaker announcements are expected ahead of the event.

The Briefing with Arabian Business takes place on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at Rosewood Abu Dhabi.
