wUnited Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan Islands, reported strong interest in its residential offerings at Cityscape Qatar 2026, particularly its newly launched Perlita Gardens project and completed apartments at Crystal Residence.
The three-day exhibition, which concluded on October 29, brought together prospective homeowners, investors, brokers and industry stakeholders, providing UDC with an opportunity to showcase its residential portfolio and engage with potential buyers.
Perlita Gardens, a new residential development on The Pearl Island, features 150 standalone villas across seven different typologies. UDC officially introduced the project during the exhibition, opening expressions of interest and launching a limited release of Phase One sales.
The villa collections have been designed to address different family and lifestyle requirements, including privacy, entertaining, multigenerational living and indoor-outdoor living. Buyers can benefit from UDC’s flexible in-house payment plan, alongside mortgage financing options through Commercial Bank and Dukhan Bank. Construction is planned over 36 months from its commencement.
UDC also showcased Crystal Residence on Gewan Island, which offers completed one- to four-bedroom apartments. The development benefits from its proximity to Crystal Walkway and the seaside promenade, as well as the island’s expanding retail, dining, leisure and hospitality facilities.
To attract prospective buyers, UDC has introduced flexible ownership options for Crystal Residence, including a 7.7% down payment followed by interest-free instalments over six years. Buyers can rent out their properties and generate rental income from the outset. Another option is a seven-year Lease-to-Own programme with a 2% buy-in fee, which also allows subleasing.
The company additionally announced a limited-time promotional offer on available Crystal Residence apartments during Cityscape Qatar.
Commenting on the response, UDC President and Chief Executive Officer Yasser Salah Al Jaidah said the exhibition provided an opportunity to engage with buyers, investors and brokers and understand their preferences and evolving residential requirements.
He said the strong visitor turnout and interest from prospective buyers highlighted the resilience of real estate as an asset class and its role in shaping communities andlifestyles.
Al Jaidah added that Perlita Gardens and Crystal Residence represented two distinct residential offerings, with the former expanding The Pearl Island’s established residential community and the latter providing completed homes with flexible ownership options on Gewan Island.
UDC said the discussions during the exhibition provided valuable insights into current residential demand, including buyers’ preferences regarding property configurations, lifestyle choices, ownership arrangements and investment opportunities.
Following the exhibition, expressions of interest for Perlita Gardens and sales enquiries for Crystal Residence will remain open, subject to availability.
