Commercial Bank: Holds It's EGM on 14/06/2023 for 2023

Commercial Bank announces that the General Assembly Meeting EGM will be held on 14/06/2023, ercial Bank Plaza, Al Markhiyah Street, Al Dafna and virtually using the ZOOM application and 06:30 PM. In case of not completing the legal quorum, the second meeting will be held on 18/06/2023, ercial Bank Plaza, Al Markhiyah Street, Al Dafna and virtually using the ZOOM application and 06:30 PM Agenda of the Extraordinary General Meeting 1) To approve the amendment of Article (20) of the Company’s Articles of Association to comply with the amendments to the Governance Instructions for Banks issued by the Qatar Central Bank by virtue of Circular No. 2 of 2023 as follows: “The Company shall be managed by a Board composed of eleven members elected by the General Assembly by secret ballot.” 2) To authorise the Chairman and/or Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors or any other person authorized by the Chairman of the Board from among the Board members or the Senior Executive Management separately to take the required actions concerning the mentioned amendments to the Articles of Association, including signing the amended Articles of Association before the competent official authorities, including the Authentication Department at the Ministry of Justice of Qatar, subject to obtaining all necessary approvals from the competent regulatory authorities.
